An evening of great singer-songwriter performances, featuring musicians and their songs - many of them developed through the on-going Spaghetti Sessions workshops.

About our featured artist: Sylvana Joyce is a native New Yorker, former child actress with credits on Broadway, conservatory pianist turned rock and roll songwriter. Her band, Sylvana Joyce + The Moment, explores a fusion of Balkan/Latin with Rock with a sound that has been compared to the cinematic compositions of artists such as Tori Amos and Kate Bush. Attracting national coverage (Huffington Post, MTV, NBC), Sylvana and her band has played various festivals in the US including CMJ and Musikfest, and is set to release a new record this year.

About Spaghetti Sessions Performing Songwriter Workshop: Since 2011, the Spaghetti Sessions has held their monthly songwriter workshop in downtown Jersey City. Musicians perform to a roomful of their peers who offer insights and feedback on the works-in-progress. Over the years, the Sessions have fostered a growing community of musicians, many of whom have gone on to become established artists throughout the JC area and beyond.
