The 4th St. NiteOwls perform an extensive repertoire from the 1930's prohibition jazz age. Hugely inspired by Thomas "Fats" Waller, they continue to breathe new life into classic songs from an era of playful composers - throwing in a few originals to boot. The band features two electric arch top guitars, upright bass, & snare drum. With both Dale and Megan on vocals, they offer charming renditions of quintessential early jazz songs.
11PM - JEB Jones
Johnny Markowski, an accomplished drummer, can be found playing his kit these days with The New Riders of the Purple Sage. When not on the road with NRPS, Johnny works with his band, Stir Fried, and plays with various artists in many styles.
In 2015, Johnny relocated to Jersey City where he met local musicians Erin and Ben Kumpf (aka Twiddlin’ Thumbs). It wasn’t long before the three formed a deep friendship over afternoons of backyard jamming, perfecting their love of three part harmonies and putting a new spin on Johnny’s prolific catalogue of songs.
JEB Jones is a collaboration born out of their love of simplistic melody layered with harmonies that envelop you and make you feel you are part of something really special.
