Scott E. Moore

Americana meets R&B.  Veteran singer-songwriter-guitarist who can break your heart, soothe your soul and make you smirk. He can croon and groove, with a beautiful melody and some nasty blues.

He’s played all over, as a solo act and a sideman. From intimate rooms to New Orleans Jazzfest.  With mind-blowing unknowns to a vast array of eclectic names like Freedy Johnston, Amos Lee, Steve Forbert, Tuck & Patti, Jane Siberry, French pop star Tété and…hell, even The Smothers Brothers. Plus too many more to name here. Good music finds good music.

Scott’s Writer’s Hang residency ran for 10 years in Hoboken, NJ,, where he performed with and hosted some of the best of the best songwriters in the country. The Sundance Channel featured Scott and ‘The Hang’ in their show, “Keeping Time: New Music from America’s Roots,” along with Gillian Welch, Nickel Creek and others.

He plays ambient soul music at prestigious yoga retreats and has created meditation music for Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey.  He’s also an award-winning documentary filmmaker.

The dude’s got stories to tell.
