Vein Rays is the project of Hoboken songwriter Paul Smirl. Started in 2014 in his home state of Wisconsin, Vein Rays has released two LPs and two EPs of intense, lyric-driven folk music and traveled the far reaches of the Midwest and East Coast regaling strangers in dimly lit bars, fluorescent living rooms, and sweaty basements. Currently working on a totally far-out full-band rock 'n' roll record, Vein Rays can be seen here solo and acoustic.
